We have partnered with the amazing West Norfolk School Sports Partnership to offer this training to all primary schools in West Norfolk.
Courses
There are two courses on offer, a three hour course for Key Stage 2 and a one hour course for Key Stage 1.
Syllabus
A range of subjects are covered including
- What is First Aid
- First Aid kits
- Recovery Position
- Resuscitation
- DR ABC
- Safety
- Communication and contacting the emergency services
Assessment
This is a non regulated qualification and attendance is all that is required.
Resources
All children taking part in the three hour course will receive a training book to keep, a first aid fact sheet, certificate and a syringe pen, children taking part in the one hour course will receive a certificate, first aid fact sheet and some mini medic colouring crayons.
Group size and bookings
The maximum we have per session is 16, this is solely because of time constraints and that way all children taking part get plenty of time to do hands on practical, for bigger groups we can either do another session in the afternoon or come back on another day.
